Early Childhood Learning Programs
Our curriculums implement the same high standards as many school-based programs
At Playhouse Child Care, our goal is for each child to develop a sense of self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth. We accomplish this by providing the foundation for children to prepare them for school. Our curriculum is based on the Creative Curriculum, which includes:
- Positive staff-child interactions and relationships providing a foundation for successful lifelong learning
- Constructive, yet purposeful play, which supports essential learning.
- Observation, documentation, and assessments of children’s development in order to plan daily activities.
Our experienced, caring, and committed staff provide quality guided learning opportunities through play and hands-on experiences. We encourage children to think creatively, utilize all their senses, and grow physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially in a safe and nurturing environment.
Your infant will feel safe, loved, and secure. Learning opportunities enhance your child’s development throughout the day. In the infant classroom, a daily schedule reflects the feeding and sleeping patterns of each individual child.
The Toddler stage is a very busy, exciting time in a young child’s life, filled with tremendous amounts of growth and development. Our teachers work hard to help the children develop self-confidence, as well as teaching them respect for themselves and others.
Preschool is a new and exciting time for children. We provide fun and educational opportunities that will allow your child to learn through play within their classroom and develop the skills necessary for Kindergarten.
